New Brook Buildings

10-16 Great Queen Street London WC2B 5DG

In 2024, British EPC conducted an assessment on the New Book buildings. Initially, there were worries that the existing commercial EPC rating would necessitate an EPC plus report, leading to significant expenses for the client to upgrade the property to meet the required C grade.

However, by meticulously gathering data and seeking additional information to validate the previously improved glazing and cladding, British EPC managed to avert the substantial costs associated with aligning the building with the current Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) and were able to award a grade B. As a result, the property is now compliant for the next decade.
